Rehearsals & Classes (Fall 2021 & Winter 2022)
We are excited to offer live, in-person programming this season and have the health and safety of our actors and staff as our highest priority. We will continue to monitor the recommendations of the CDC, the Department of Public Health, and the Department of Secondary Education and will adjust the structure of our programs as necessary to adhere to current guidelines and regulations.
Plans for safe & healthy Artbarn programs:
All participants and staff, regardless of vaccination status, are required to wear a mask while indoors.
All participants and staff will be encouraged to wash their hands and use hand sanitizer frequently throughout the rehearsal day.
Rehearsal activities will be designed to minimize contact and maximize social distancing to the extent possible.
Snack breaks/mask breaks will be taken outdoors whenever possible. When held indoors, strict social distancing guidelines will apply.
Any participant or staff member showing symptoms of COVID-19 will be isolated while arrangements are made for them to leave rehearsal.
Note – the Artbarn staff and interns are all fully vaccinated.
Please don’t hesitate to contact us with any questions or concerns about our safety measures.

Performances (Fall 2021)
We are thrilled to be welcoming live audiences back to Artbarn! For all performances audience members must adhere to the following safety measures:
Pursuant to a Town of Brookline Department of Public Health Order, all people entering the performance space must wear approved masks regardless of vaccination status.
All audience members age 12 and over will be required to provide proof of full vaccination (a physical vaccination card, a photograph of the card, or a digital record stored on a phone or electronic device).
Alternately, audience members may show a negative COVID-19 PCR test taken with 72 hours of the performance or a negative COVID-19 antigen test (rapid test) taken within 24 hours of the performance. Children under 12 will not be required to show proof of a negative test.
No food or drink is allowed in the performance space, and we will not be selling concessions this season.
We request that audience members stay home if they are experiencing symptoms of COVID-19 or have been in close contact with a person diagnosed with COVID-19. In such cases, we are happy to offer a refund.
Those who do not follow these policies will be denied entry or asked to leave the performance space and will not receive a refund.
Note – the Artbarn staff, interns, and volunteers are all fully vaccinated.
